This seminar will help you understand Ventral Suspension, TLR, and STNR

2 hours

In Seminar 4 you will learn the concepts of 3 postural descriptors and 2 primitive reflexes: Ventral Suspension, Landau and Parachute Reflex as well as the Tonic Labyrinthine Reflex (TLR) and Symmetric Tonic Neck Reflex (STNR).

We will identify these in relation to the integration of balance and coordination and vestibular-proprioception.

By the end of this seminar, you will have a comprehensive structural framework for diagnosing and treating these reflexes, including tests and tools to assist with integration of these reflexes.

This seminar will help you:

  • Learn how to assess Ventral Suspension + TLR + STNR and factors affecting these in children with neuro-developmental delay.

  • Learn new diagnostic tools for treating the Ventral Suspension + TLR + STNR.

  • Develop a structured framework for working with children with retained reflexes.

  • Learn how to perform practical techniques for assisting children with retained Ventral Suspension + TLR + STNR within the clinical setting
